Hades was easily angered and had a high temper.

  1. Hades, Hera, Hestia, Demeter, Zeus and Poseiden were all swallowed at birth; besides Zeus. They were all swallowed because Cronas was afraid that his children would try to take over. Later his children actually did take over.
  2. Hades fell in love with his niece Persephone who washis brother (Zeus) and his sister (Demeter’s) daughter. Hades instantly fell in love with Persephone the moment he saw her. Hades decides to kidnap her by coming out of the ground in a chariot while Peresphone was picking flowers he then took her down to the underworld. Persephone then later falls in love with Hades as well and they get married and she becomes Queen of the Underworld.
  3. One day Hades appeared in a chariot and grabbed Persephone who was picking flower, he then took her into the underworld where they both fell in love with each other. Persephones mom began to worry about where Persephone was then this caused a lot of problems.

  4. Hades had Five children: The Erinyes, Melinoe, and Makaria. The Erinyes were know as the avengers they were three underworld goddess. Melinoe was and underworld goddess as well. Makaria was the goddess of (blessed) Death.
  5. Hades was the King of death in the underworld. Thantos was the god of death. So Hades was not the one who brought about death he just ruled the underworld.
  6. Hades was not an only child he had 5 siblings; Hestia, then Hades, next was Posiedon, then Demeter, then Hera, and finally Zeus. His sister Hestia who was the Olympian goddess of home and hearth. Hades was the god of the underworld. Poseidon was the god of the seas. Demeter was goddess of the harvest. Hera was the goddess of marriage and is the Queen of the gods. Finally Zeus was god of the sky and thunder.

  8. Hades only showed mercy to Orpheus; son of Apollo and the muse Calliope. Hades aloud Orpheus to take his wife to the land of the for only on reason because Orpheus’s music was so sad.
  9. The house of Hades was a dreadful place because you may never return under somecircumstances. That is why people go unless they absolutely had to.
  10. Many things have many different names in different cultures. The underworld has many different names; Underworld, Hades, House of Hades, Erebus, Tartarus, Elysium, and Isles of the Blessed.

Most people were scared to enter the underworld because it was so scary, as showed in this picture.




For my glitter text I chose black because black has a dark sense to it. It needs to have a dark sense because Hades is a dark person. My music is supposed to be dark and mysterious because Hades is dark and mysterious.
